1. Rental Fee: The Lessee shall pay a rental fee of 499 (Rupees Four Hundred and Ninety Nine Only)per month/year, payable in advance on the ……… of each month/year.
  2. Security Deposit: The Lessee shall pay a security deposit of 1,500 ( Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only)refundable at the end of the rental period, subject to the condition that the equipment is returned in good working condition. However, if the Lessee terminates this Agreement and returns the Equipment before completing 3 months from the commencement of the rental period, the Security Deposit shall be forfeited and not refunded.
  3. Equipment: The Lessor agrees to rent to the Lessee a water purifier (hereinafter referred to as “the Equipment”) for a period specified below.
  4. Ownership: The Lessor is the absolute owner of the Equipment.
  5. Maintenance: The Lessor shall be responsible for regular maintenance and repairs of the Equipment.
  6. Usage: The Lessee shall use the Equipment only for the purpose of purifying water and shall not use it for any other purpose.
  7. Return: The Lessee shall return the Equipment to the Lessor at the end of the rental period in good working condition.
  8. Hand Over of Equipment: The Lessor shall hand over the equipment to the Lessee in good working condition at the beginning of the rental period.

WARRANTY

COVERED BY WARRANTY

The warranty cover the following issues:

  1. Filter Default: Issues with water quality or taste due to filter malfunction within the warranty period.
  2. Leakage: Leaks caused by faulty connections, water tank issues, or UV parts default within 48 hours of installation/service.
  3. Equipment Failure: Failure of the water purifier’s core components, such as the UV system, pump, or control unit.
  4. Noise Issues: Abnormal noise caused by compressor or pump default.
  5. Display Issues: Malfunctioning display unit or error messages due to manufacturing defects.
  6. Faucet/Water Outlet Issues: Damage or malfunction of the faucet or water outlet due to manufacturing defects.
  7. Water Pump Issues: Failure of the water pump due to manufacturing defects.

NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY

The warranty does not cover the following issues:

  1. Misuse or Neglect: Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or failure to follow maintenance instructions.
  2. Unauthorized Repairs: Issues arising from repairs or modifications done by unauthorized personnel.
  3. Power Surges: Damage caused by power surges, electrical issues, or improper electrical connections.
  4. External Factors: Damage caused by external factors such as pets, pests, or natural disasters.
  5. Normal Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear of parts, such as filter replacements, unless specifically stated otherwise.
  6. Satisfaction Issues: Issues related to personal satisfaction with the product’s performance or taste preferences.
  7. Moving or Shifting: Issues arising from moving or shifting the equipment without the supervision of Star Purifiers’ personnel.
  8. Missing or Lost Parts: Loss or misplacement of spare parts or accessories.
  9. No Water or Power Supply: Issues caused by lack of water or power supply, or insufficient feed flow.

CARE OF PRODUCT

DO’S:

  1. Regular Maintenance: Follow the recommended maintenance schedule for filter replacements and cleaning.
  2. Clean Exterior: Regularly wipe the exterior with a soft cloth to prevent dust accumulation.
  3. Check Water Pressure: Ensure the water pressure is within the recommended range for the purifier.
  4. Use Recommended Filters: Use only Star Purifiers-approved filters to maintain water quality and system performance.
  5. Monitor Performance: Keep an eye on the purifier’s performance and report any issues promptly.

DON’TS:

  1. Avoid Direct Sunlight: Do not place the purifier in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
  2. No Tampering: Do not attempt to repair or modify the purifier yourself.
  3. Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not expose the purifier to extreme temperatures or humidity.
  4. No Pets or Pests: Keep pets and pests away from the purifier to prevent damage.
  5. Proper Power Supply: Ensure the purifier is connected to a stable power supply, and avoid overloading the circuit.
  6. No Unauthorized Movement: Do not move or shift the purifier without Star Purifiers’ supervision.
  7. Follow User Manual: Read and follow the user manual for specific instructions on usage and maintenance.

PAYMENT TERMS

  1. Payment Method: The Lessee shall make payments through any mode.
  2. Late Payment: A late payment fee of 50 (Rupees Fifty Only) shall be applicable if payment is not made within 5 days of the due date.

INSPECTION

The Lessor reserves the right to inspect the Equipment periodically to ensure it is in good working condition and being used as per the terms of this Agreement.

DAMAGE LIABILITY

The Lessee shall be liable for any damage or loss to the Equipment caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized tampering. The Lessee shall pay for any repairs or replacement costs incurred by the Lessor.

TERMINATION

  1. Notice: Either party may terminate this Agreement by giving 30 days’ written notice to the other party only after three months from the date of agreement.
  2. Obligations: Upon termination, the Lessee shall return the Equipment to the Lessor and pay all outstanding rental fees.
  3. Termination Fees/Penalty: Upon termination by the Lessee before the expiry of the rental period, the Lessee shall pay a termination fee of10% of the remaining rental fees, whichever is applicable.

INDEMNITY

The Lessee shall indemnify the Lessor against any loss, damage, or liability arising from the use of the equipment.

ADDITIONAL TERMS

  1. Liability: The Lessee shall be liable for any damage or loss caused to third parties or property due to the use of the Equipment.
  2. Compliance: The Lessee shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the use of the Equipment.

GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kerala, India.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions, understandings, and agreements.

By signing below, the parties acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
